Daisy Daze {epic photo dump}

I love this dress. Tana doesn't have any other green clothing so I wasn't aware of how adorable she looked in that color! It's my new favorite and it makes me want to run out and buy all the green things I see. Oh and we had to put a pillow behind her because it was really windy and she kept getting almost blown over haha

All these photos were taken in front of my Grandma's house. The idea was to get her daisies in the shots but they were too tall so only one actually ended up in any of them haha. We did give her one to play with though and got some photos before she ate it

I know these are all pretty overexposed, and I hate that! I need to learn how to use my camera in manual setting again because I've pretty much forgotten how to since my high school photography class. Plus I never learned on a digital camera anyways, I learned on my Minolta Maxxum 70 (love that camera, by the way, I need to buy some film for it!)

I love those little clips pictured above. I bought a pack hoping they'd stay in her hair because none of the other kind do. Her hair is really fine just like Johns and it bums me out! Hopefully they'll stay once it gets a little longer (and I can finally get a little ponytail in there, too!)

As you can see, she started getting grumpy and tired towards the end of our little photo shoot. This was the last photo we took and it's definitely one of my favorites. I really love when she gets all sleepy and starts rubbing her eyes, it's beyond cute!! And I'm loving having impromptu photo sessions with her, too. It's so fun.

{photographic evidence} The tooth...er...teeth...!

It's been a busy week over here in Kaetana's mouth. She sprouted two, read it TWO, teeth in just a few days! After lots of crying and biting and over all miserable-ness it's over and they're out. They still have some sprouting to do but at least they've broken the gum and they're the cutest little teeth I ever did see. And now for the photographic evidence!:

Learning Sounds

Kaetana has been learning so much so fast lately! The other day we were hanging out and I thought I'd try and teach her a new sound, 'bah'. She hasn't really gotten in to the babbling stage yet and I wanted to scoot her along in to that because I really want to hear her say Mama and Dada! haha so anyways, we were working on it and she wasn't really understanding (she kept starting the 'b' sound and transitioning in to blowing raspberries instead.) We did it off and on for about 3 hours until she finally got it! She was so proud of herself I had to take a video. Unfortunately it's sideways because I always forget that about my phone, so I apologize for that. I really need to get a video camera. Here she is being really proud of herself!

She's obsessed with making this noise now, and it cracks me up!

Your Best Shot

I love The Paper Mama blog, it's one of my favorites. Chelsey is so fun and creative, and her little Ruari is ridiculously cute! I often enter her photo challenges, and this one's no different. It's her "Your Best Shot" challenge, and I'm kind of excited about it. I looked through my photos of Kaetana for a really long time before I decided which one I would consider my best. 

I love everything about this photo.
